It happens a LOT more often than people realise and is on the rise again this year.

I use a selection of different tools, scripts and pkugins across my hundreds of sites to both try and protect them and to keep track of how often attempts are made. I know from these reports that on average over 50 of my sites are targeted on a daily basis...

so I'm always looking for better ways of tightening up the security across my whole network.

and I'm not the only one...

my mate Chris had one of his site's hacked and lost over $22k because of it!
