But why?

The answer to the question though is that Google is fed up. They don't like people who do search engine optimization - for them it's just you trying to game their search engine.

White hat, black hat, yellow hat... whatever. You're all being lumped into the same group.

So they've taken an extreme approach. You and all of your sites are guilty until proven innocent.

The proof is that they've gone on a scorch and burn campaign. Right now as we speak, there are sites that are 100% legitimate being kicked out of Google's search engine.

Why Google Hates You

There are a number of reasons that will cause your site to be ranked poorly in Google.

1. Not enough links or authority

2. You got caught in the recent Google updates trying to game their search engine using bad link building practices.

You see, a lot of people have been focused on tactic-based link building.

Here's what I mean... most people before the recent panda and penguin updates found a few link sources that worked well in Google's old algorithm.  They hammered the heck out these couple of link sources and their sites flew to the top of Google.

SWEEET! Actually, not sweet... because this has come back to bite them BIG time.

Because all it takes is one little wave of Google's wand and they say:

"Hey you, all those links you built that you've been gaming my search engine with... yeah, we're discounting them"...

And you fall like a boulder to the bottom of the ocean, or in their case, page 1,259 of Google.

How to Prove Your Innocence?

If you ever expect to get back on top of Google and get your sites ranking and all that f.ree traffic flowing in, you need to do 2 simple things:

1. Get back links to your site consistently and naturally

2. Get back links from as many sources as you possibly can - big, small, everything from high PR sites to your cat's blog.
